Hey folks – we’ve got a couple of interesting shows coming up at Halifax’s notorious Seahorse Tavern.

You have to be living in a cave under a rock to not have heard about the terrible things happening in Haiti right now, and the Seahorse is holding a fundraiser this coming Sunday night (Jan 24th) to try and help out.  We’re gonna be sharing the stage with some other great locals doing what we can to help out. It’s not only a good cause – it’s an important one.

Later that week on Tuesday the 26th, we’re gonna be back at the Seahorse for the MNS battle to Canada Music Week! Music Nova Scotia is hosting a battle of the bands for a coveted tiki stage showcase for this year’s Canada Music Week. These showcases are a pretty big deal – past artists including Joel Plaskett, Wintersleep, Matt Mays, J.P. Cormier, In-Flight Safety, Tom Fun Orchestra, and pretty much any other Nova Scotia band making big splashes in the last decade! So come on out and support your local Telfers! Not only will we be playing our butts off – but the rest of the lineup that night ain’t no slouches either! That’s a hearty helping of good local music for a $0.00 cover charge
